Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions:

  • Q: How do Attain’s weight loss products and programs work?

A: Getting started is fairly simple:

    1) Schedule an appointment with our provider via the HIPAA compliant patient portal.

Note: You will be sent patient forms to be completed within 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Failure to do so may result in the rescheduling of your appointment. This policy ensures that our provider has ample time to thoroughly review your information so we can offer you the most comprehensive and tailored information and options during your scheduled appointment.

    2) Our provider will review your medical history after your face-to-face video visit. Once our provider and you determine that our program is the right fit for you, the chosen payment method can be selected and submitted.

    3) Our clinic will then order labs, and an email will be sent to you, directing you to a participating lab close to you. You will print off the lab requisition sheet, make an appointment (if necessary), and then go in and have labs drawn. (No additional fees; this is covered in the cost of the program.)

    4) Once your lab results are back (pending no abnormalities), your first month of medication will be ordered from one of our partner pharmacies and delivered directly to you.

  • Q: Where are you located? Can I come into your office for a visit?

A: At present, Attain’s telehealth consultations are only accessible through face-to-face video meetings. Physical location visits are not currently available.

Our headquarters are located in Phoenix, AZ, and we have a branch in Kansas. In addition, our healthcare provider is licensed in Arizona, Kansas, Iowa, and New Mexico. Expansion of licensing to other states is underway, and we look forward to providing our services in other states soon.

  • Q: Will I have a visit every month?

A: After your first visit with our provider, you will have monthly follow-up visits with a registered nurse to monitor your progress to determine if you are susceptible to any side effects. These appointments are important to keep as this will also be when your next month of medication will be ordered.

Note: You should schedule your follow-up appointments at least 7 to 10 days before you are due for a refill.

  • Q: Do you take insurance?

A: We do not accept insurance. We are self-pay only and accept major credit cards, Venmo, Apple Pay, and PayPal. FSA/HSA cards are accepted and can be used at the discretion of your individual plan administrator.

  • Q: Do Attain’s weight loss products create a shortage for diabetics?

A: To clarify, Attain does not utilize the brand name weight loss medications Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro. Instead, we collaborate with 503B compound pharmacies in the United States, ensuring our supplies originate from FDA-registered suppliers. Note that these compound pharmacies are authorized to produce the compounded version of Semaglutide, primarily due to shortages in the availability of brand-name medications.

  • Q: Can we make our appointment by phone instead of video?

A: While we understand balancing schedules can be challenging, the first appointment with our provider must be a face-to-face video consultation. We ask that you allocate a brief period and a quiet space for the appointment to enable our provider to give you their utmost attention.

If you are on the go, we ask that you prioritize safety first and pull over before proceeding to your consultation. Doing so can ensure you receive the full allotment of the scheduled appointment time, enabling us to give you the desired care and attention.

  • Q: The Million-Dollar Question: How much?

A: Our regular price for the Semaglutide program is $300/month (plus $30 shipping), which includes all visits, initial lab fees, and a four-week supply of the prescribed medicine. We pride ourselves on transparency, unlike some providers who may advertise a single price only to reveal later that it applies only to the first month or that there will be a significant increase in cost after reaching a certain dosage.

At Attain, we prioritize making your goals attainable and sustainable, as we firmly believe that achieving a healthy state should not be limited to those with substantial financial resources.

Please note that prices for the Tirzepatide program may vary due to the higher costs associated with the medication from the pharmacy. As a result, plan prices start at $500/month and may increase progressively after the initial months. In the case of oral weight loss options, prices will depend on the specific option chosen in consultation with your provider.

  • Q: Do you offer Discounts?

A: Yes. We offer discounts and special promotions on our base price of $300/month for Semaglutide and $500/month for Tirzepatide throughout the year, primarily during various seasons and holidays. To stay updated, please visit and follow our social media pages for any promotional announcements.

In addition, to express gratitude, we extend a discount of $50 off the regular monthly price of Semaglutide for any referral that becomes an Attain patient.
